Japan, Imperial. A Mint Order of the Rising Sun, II Class Set, in Case Newly Listed Retired on 8th Feb 1906( Kyokujitsu_sho). Instituted in 1875. A Badge consisting of an eight point star in silver gilt with white, green, and violet enamels, a dark red cabochon center, the reverse identical to the obverse, measures 54. 9 mm (w) x 86. 4 mm (h inclusive of suspension and integral ring), weighs 55. 78 grams, includes original neck ribbon, intact enamels, in mint condition. The Star of the order, constructed of a silver star base, superimposed on an eight
