Aegean Product:Aegean On a bold antique brassThe black wave at the top of of this work sets the tone for this nautically themed, collaged painting. The shape on the right recalls a sunken statueor perhaps a wine jugrecalling ancient sea journeys. Created on a collaged base, over painted with acrylic and oil pigment stick and accented by surface drawing, it's mounted on a dark charcoal grey painted wood cradle and is ready to hang.
